After determining what we can do to support your business, we will give you one fee amount that covers everything from meetings, preparing documents, phone calls and emails, court filing, court appearances, and anything else we need to support your business. You will know exactly how much you’ll be charged and will not be hit with a surprise bill.

Keegan is a native of Bloomington, Indiana and was raised with Midwestern values of hard work and honesty. He attended Wilmington College where he earned his B.A. and was a member of the championship men’s basketball team. His time as a student-athlete taught him the true value of teamwork and leadership while remaining academically successful. Prior to starting law school Keegan held positions at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a Columbus and an Ohio based start-up company serving several Midwestern states.
Keegan then graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law where he received a specialization in Intellectual Property. While at SIU, Keegan was the president of the Black Law Student Association and Intellectual Property Society. Prior to co-founding NSLF, Keegan was an associate attorney at a Chicago firm specializing in the representation of landlords. As an entrepreneur himself, Keegan is passionate about helping others take their dreams from paper to reality and protecting their assets.

Lisa is a native of the Washington, DC suburbs and was born to United States Army officers who taught her relentless dedication to achieving her goals while always maintaining her integrity. Lisa earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park where she was also a member of the women’s volleyball team. Her time as a student-athlete fostered her passion for leadership and pursuit of success in an academically rigorous setting.
Lisa simultaneously graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law and School of Business with her J.D/M.B.A. While at SIU, Lisa was a member of the Law Journal and published an article about the Title IX implications of paying student-athletes. Prior to founding Nowlin Scott Law Firm, Lisa held positions at the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), Purdue University and Northwestern University. Lisa is dedicated to working closely with small business owners and landlords and looks forwarded to bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to your team.
