Keegan is a native of Bloomington, Indiana and was raised with Midwestern values of hard work and honesty. He attended Wilmington College where he earned his B.A. and was a member of the championship men’s basketball team. His time as a student-athlete taught him the true values of teamwork and leadership while remaining academically successful. Prior to starting law school, Keegan held positions at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a Columbus and an Ohio-based start-up company serving several Midwestern states. Keegan then graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law where he received a specialization in Intellectual Property. While at SIU, Keegan was the president of the Black Law Student Association and Intellectual Property Society. Prior to co-founding NSLF, Keegan was an associate attorney at a Chicago firm specializing in the representation of landlords. As an entrepreneur, Keegan is passionate about helping others take their dreams from paper to reality and protecting their assets.
