Lisa is a native of Washington, DC suburbs and was born to United States Army officers who taught her relentless dedication to achieving her goals while always maintaining her integrity. Lisa earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park where she was also a member of the women’s volleyball team. Her time as a student-athlete fostered her passion for leadership and pursuit of success in an academically rigorous setting. Lisa simultaneously graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law and School of Business with her J.D./M.B.A. While at SIU, Lisa was a member of the Law Journal and published an article about the Title IX implications of paying student-athletes. Prior to founding Nowlin Scott Law Firm, Lisa held positions at the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), Purdue University and Northwestern University. Lisa is dedicated to working closely with small business owners and landlords and looks forward to bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to your team.
